Alternative Dispute Resolution

Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) refers to ways of resolving disputes that don’t involve going to court. The government is encouraging easier access to ADR in business because it can be best for all parties.

Common forms of ADR are:

  • Mediation, where an independent third party helps the disputing parties to come to a mutually acceptable outcome
  • Arbitration, where an independent third party considers the facts and takes a decision that’s often binding on one or both parties

We have many years of experience with mediation and arbitration, for example, attending mediations and dealing with the preparation and matters which may arise thereafter. If you are unsure if ADR can resolve your matter, contact us for a chat.

We’re not like many other law firms; we only practice law in a few specialist areas that require skill, knowledge and experience. Call or email for a no obligation chat with one of our partners.
